Curriculum
At MOGA ACADEMY, we focus on helping every student build skills that can be applied and developed over the long term. Our haircutting courses were created by a curriculum developer who studied at Vidal Sassoon Academy, one of the United Kingdom’s most renowned hair academies. That international foundation was later adapted in Japan to suit Asian hair, becoming the starting point of the MOGA approach — one that emphasises texture design tailored to Asian hair for a soft, natural movement. All classes are taught by senior stylists who continue to work at MOGA, ensuring that the knowledge shared is professional, practical, and always up to date.
Our short courses combine essential theory on hair and scalp structure with hands-on practice. A strong focus is placed on Design Cut techniques, enabling students to create hairstyles that suit each client’s face shape, head shape, and personal image. By the end of the course, students will be able to design styles that leave a lasting impression and help build a loyal client base over time. Practical training includes working on mannequins as well as real models, helping every student gain confidence and prepare for professional salon work.

MOGA Academy is fully equipped with professional hair tools, equipment, and products at the same standard used in our salons, allowing students to train in an environment that closely reflects real salon conditions and prepares them for premium-level service. The academy itself is also designed to feel like a working salon, helping students become familiar with the atmosphere of real professional practice. We maintain cleanliness standards comparable to those of our salons, and the location is highly convenient — close to public transport, with direct building access and sufficient parking. A dining area is also available on site for students during breaks.
